Wake Up! is UoN's Global Health advocacy group, aiming to educate, fundraise and build connections between medical and health students, forming multidisciplinary relationships and broadening our understanding of humanitarian issues such as refugee rights, climate change, and non-communicable diseases.
BREAATHHE is the rural health club of UON, running events including skills night (learn how to cannulate!), rural high school visits (teach students about your degree!), scholarship opportunities , social events and much more! It is a multidisciplinary club, giving you the opportunity to engage with students from all health degrees, including Nursing, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy.

UoN's Surgical Society (Or SurgSoc for short),organises practical skills nights, where you will learn surgical skills (including suturing!), anatomy revision sessions which are high yield in preparation for exams and academic nights where renowned surgeons discuss their experiences that will be sure to inspire you, whether or not you are surgically inclined.
